I was engaged by Jonas Yoder Custom Homes in 2023 to provide conceptual design services for two adjacent custom homes for their client. The property is a vacant double lot in the heart of the Gillespie Park neighborhood. ​

The project scope evolved into the design of a single custom home w/ADU for owner occupancy. The smaller portion of the double lot was planned to be sold.​

The Owner wanted a small 3 BR / 2 bath home with the living spaces and primary suite open to the lanai and conversation pool in the rear, modeled after our house. The design features a vaulted open layout similar to our home but with a more traditional aesthetic.​

A separate garage is connected to the lanai with a short-term rental unit with separate access is planned above.

The Owner has since abandoned the project but the house design is easily adaptable to other properties.​
