This house was designed as a potential speculatively developed home for a quarter acre suburban “tear down” lot owned by a friend. While planned for a specific property the design is easily adapted to other lots of similar size.​​

The plan is organized with the lanai, great room, and primary bedroom arrayed around the large caged pool and spa. Sliding glass walls seamlessly connect those interior spaces to the outdoors and Sarasota’s amazing climate most of the year. ​

The Mid-Century revival aesthetic, both exterior and interior, is in keeping with the neighborhood. It’s also intended to capitalize on the popularity of mid-century homes in Sarasota, but with the efficiency of current construction.
